Dr Hamish Caithness holds an honours degree in Dentistry from the University of Queensland. Having worked both in London and Brisbane, over the past 10 years he has undertaken postgraduate education ranging from complex and cosmetic dental courses keeping up to date with the latest cutting edge dentistry, to a diploma in “twilight” sedation which helps dentophobic patients. His aim is to provide the best quality treatment in the most comfortable way. His is a firm believer in “Prevention is better than the cure” and practises minimally invasive dentistry. One of his aims is to help anxious patients have a comfortable experience while in his care, many people have gone in for the first time white faced and come out smiling.
Dr Kristina Cain completed her studies at the University of Queensland and has over 16 years experience as a dental practicioner. She has travelled around Australia during this time, working in private practices in Cairns, Sydney and Brisbane. As a family dentist, she enjoys treating patients from all walks of life and has a wonderful group of devotees who have followed her loyally. She endeavours to help patients feel more at ease when having their necessary dental treatment and being a Mother of two primary school-aged children (a boy and girl), Kristina has a nuturing way with children and their parents. She has a special interest and flare for cosmetic enhancements, crown and bridgework and root canal therapy. Krissie strongly believes that the prevention of dental degeneration is the key to happy and healthy mouths. With a thorough and honest work ethic, she is devoted to continued professional education and enjoys sharing her experiences to help with the education of dental students and dental staff alike.
